Have been experiencing life without my laptop for a few days now. Have to admit I am missing my best friend on cold winter nights like this one.I like nothing better than to be tucked up in bed with listening to an audio tape while I attempt to do four or five things at once on my lappy, blogging, tweeting, exploring, learning and playing...
Now I'm using my sons computer, a desktop that doesn't allow the luxury of wallowing in the comfort of my bed in my PJ's :-) . But the potbellies been lit, and it's warm in here. the office chairI'm sitting on now is comfortable enough without being decadent. If I could live in my bed I would I think...
Of course when I'm out in the garden bed is the last place I'm thinking of, but being on a computer requires stillness and comfort...
Anyway...some good things have come from the space the laptop has left. a bit more house work has happened. And some great conversations with my son. The garden's taken a few more steps forward, and the dream of producing an abundance of organic produce's come closer to "fruition" :-)
every door that closes opens a "window of opportunity" .
